I need to attach a 4 pin tether to the rear of a MTH Premier F-3 with Proto 1. The tether has 4 wires, red, yellow, black and white. Is there a wiring diagram or photograph(s) to show where to connect the wires? I need to send a signal back through the "B" unit to the rear "A" so it will have a headlight when going in reverse.

If you're not using the standard slave board in the trailing F3, there is no "standard" wiring. If you're just looking for the reverse light, wire the two wires from the green connector on the PS/1 board through the tether to a 1.5V bulb in the trailing unit.
Well, I checked the output of the green plug in the leading A unit and you do get power there for a light when it is in reverse, but I can't get that power to transfer through the tether to the trailing unit. I've tried every possible wire color connection and nothing seems to work. The ABA only came with one powered A but I added a powered B unit. The trailing A unit is unpowered but it has a small board that runs the Mars light (which works fine). So, I still need to know, Which two wires in the 4 wire tether can carry power to the reverse light? There are four, black, white, red and yellow.
Ok figured it out and got it fixed. yellow and blue wires. Sorry to have bothered you.
No bother, glad you got it going.
