One of my Fastrack switches (048 RH in this case) was only throwing about 2/3 of the way when I attempted to throw it through (straight). It was clearly a mechanical issue since I couldn't even manually move the frog all the way over.

I finally got around to pulling it off the layout and opened it up to see what was going on - one of the screws underneath the drive mechanism (black triangle) was loose and preventing the drive from swinging all the way over to one side. I tightened up the loose screw and it worked flawlessly. The image shows one screw, but there's one on the underside (under the drive mechanism) as well.

Sharing this in case it can help somebody else!
