fiber optic Orange/multi mode

I would like to find some optical grade fiber to allow me to position a camera in a locomotive and pipe the actual view from the front of the engine to a camera that is a couple inches away.  If you know of anywhere to find something like that for a reasonable price...

what are you considering "optical grade" fiber?  If you have the lens and the receiver the fiber is available..you could buy a fiber tool they sell at home depot and take it apart and use that lens and camera but then you would need a wireless transmitter and a receiver to get the images..optical grde fiber is here http://www.edmundoptics.com/op...de-fiber-optics/1352

The ones at Edmond Optics are just for light transmission, not image transmission.

I have one of these, but they're not small enough to fit into the space in any of the locomotives in question.

I think I get what you're doing. You're trying to use fiber as the actual view, like a snake-cam for inspecting pipes or automobiles.

You have it, that's what I'd like to do.  I'm not sure I can do it without spending a ton of money, at least I haven't found a source yet.
