I agree! GGG has help me with repairs and his advice has given insight to a few other problems. I'm sure the forum would not be the same with out him.

He's done several repairs for me.  He knows his stuff.  He will even replace components on the PC board instead of replacing the whole board.

He has repaired a couple of mine and I couldn't be happier. A true asset to the hobby and one of the reasons this forum is so great!

George just did a PS2 upgrade to my Williams brass 'J'. It turned out great and is like a new engine. Haven't talked to him personally, but he's great communicating with via email. He's also great to follow up on his work. I highly recommend him.  Thanks George!

 

 

And I’ll be the 8^th Forum member so far to praise George on his excellent service in diagnosing the problem, supplying a part and providing helpful advice on how to replace the part on an MTH engine of mine.

George did a PS2 upgrade on an MTH steam locomotive for me.  When the finished product returned to me, it included the MTH instruction book for doing the upgrade.

Upon reading the instructions and seeing the gut wrenching tedium it entailed, I praised the Heavens Above that someone has the skill and initiative to do this work...I don't have either quality.

GGG comes highly recommended.

Rather than throwing your %$#@* PS1 dead unit against the nearest wall, let GGG handle it, instead.

Yep George is one of the go to experts on the forum and deserves high regard and appreciation. We're all very lucky he chooses to share his expertise with us.

I met George at York a few ago and he's not only extremely competent, he's also a really decent guy.

Guys, do the right thing and buy him a beer at York.  I know I will.
