Good afternoon, been a novice collector of MTH since 1999. I am aware that Mike sold the company off in parts to various vendors. What does the future hold? I'm not in this to collect and save. We enjoy running the trains with kids within the family and also use the opportunity to teach basic wiring and electricity during layout building. So do we keep them and see what happens or sell the lot? Concerned about future repair, parts and value of collection. Thanks.

No one knows other than Mike Wolf and probably a small group inside the organization. Other than the Atlas announcement very little is know as fact.
I would continue to enjoy and run your trains. While what happens to the balance of MTH O gauge tooling remains to be seen, we do know that Atlas has purchased several molds and has also licensed MTH's DCS control system. Meanwhile MTH continues to announce several special run items that appears to have them busy releasing product through the end of 2021 at least... I don't believe you should do anything but continue to enjoy and run your trains. Appears there will be a path for parts into the future.
WWW, If I was you, I would hang onto them.
Hang on to them, enjoy them. But don't let worry about MTH coming to an end affect your enjoyment of your trains. Your trains will still run after June 2021... enjoy!
Thanks everyone. Your replies are very much appreciated.
