Here you go. Enjoy

Sunday the RMD TCA's Rocky mountain Toy Train Show at the Forney Museum was first then I headed west 10 Miles to Golden Colorado and the Colorado Railroad Museum's Goose Fest. This was the first time since the shutdown of the Rio Grande Southern Railroad that 6 of 7 Galloping Geese were back together running in Colorado.

Most of the museum is outdoors and at 1 pm it was a dry 97 degrees. Admission was $15 but included unlimited rides on the larger Geese. We waited about 20 minutes to ride Goose #4. While we were waiting a replica of Goose #1 and # 6 were parked nearby. #1 had overheated while #6 was ready to go. Seemed kind of ironic that the original Geese were running fine yet the reproduction was overheated - it looked cool though

Goose #6 has a Buick body and is owned by the Colorado RR Museum. The real #1 was scrapped in the 1930's. Parts from #1 were used to build #6. Goose #1 shown here is a replica built for the Ridgeway Railroad museum

We got a cab ride in Goose 4 which has a Wayne bus body with standard school bus type folding doors on both sides. The ride was surprisingly smooth on the well maintained museum loop. Goose 4 is owned by the Ridgeway Railroad Museum.

Recent addition to the Colorado Railroad Museum a 2-8-0 Colorado North Western #30 (also Colorado Central, Rio Grande Southern #74) rescued and cosmetically restored from a park in Boulder Colorado.
