Got Lucky Before Disassembling a Legacy Diesel

Couple of months back I posted that my Conrail 82283 SD40 needed resetting every few weeks. I thought it's time to get it apart to see if something might be loose. But one thing I did first was to wiggle the cruise control on/off switch a few times. This was a few months ago. Haven't had any problems since. Got lucky this time. RICH
