Hi Ken, who produced the set and is it a new product?  I would think that the manufacturer/importer would have provided a owner's/operators manual of some sort.  You might go to the manufacturer's/importer's website and see if they do not have a manual for the set that can be reviewed and downloaded.

Guess I should have been more specific It's a Lionel service station set from 1992. Loco is a dual motor GP9.
