GP 35 Wiring | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

This a picture of my Legacy GP 35 with the shell off.

My question is : The 2 gray wires that look to be attached to a piece of metal that is attached to the shell with one tiny screw that I could not remove.. There is nothing on the bottom of this metal piece that looks to have had any wire(s) attached.

The switch shown in the top picture (bottom of the top picture)goes on the piece of metal where you see the "screw holes". Why do I think they were attached, one of the wires was still attached until I moved the metal piece.

The two gray wires are the antenna wires , they are usually soldered to the metal antenna.
