My 4 year old grandson has shown a real aptitude for things with remotes and that includes Lionel Lion Chief and TMCC. This weekend I upgraded my Williams scale GG1 to TMCC with a kit from ERR including sounds. He loves it and I have not been able to run it yet. My next projects are some dead K-Line operating dump cars which will get the mini commander TMCC units installed to bring them back to life. As an extra added bonus I will be able to consolidate to just one remote!
The install was very straight forward and took about 3 hours from start to finish. After the dump cars I will be moving on to a pair of Williams E-33s.
