Great Article Series on Maintenance of Way

The article did not jump out at me on the web site.  Can you help me find it?  Thanks

1. Go onto "www.trainlife.com" I'm a registered member, but I'm not sure that's required to browse for the magazines.
2. Click the "Magazines" link on the menu.
3. Click "Browse Index" and scroll down to Model Railroading.
4. Click "1996" and the issue-by-issue list will appear.
5. Right-Click on the specific issue and "Open in New Tab/Open in New Window" The reason for this is that when you go back, you don't always get back to the same magazine list.
6. Click the "pull-down" that has the page and go to page 3 for the table of contents. Then go to the article page.
7. The pages are all scanned images, so you can save the pictures to disk. Most of the articles are four or five pages so you can get all of them downloaded pretty quickly. I organized the pages by issue for future reference.

There are several very well written first person accounts of MOW work.  Two of my favorites are:

30 Years Over Donner - Bill Fisher - he was a signal maintainer for SP and his stories focus on signal maintenance over Donner Pass
