I purchased an OGuage Track Maintenenace Toolkit from tinman3rail.com back in January 2019.  My plans are to build a PostWar layout using Post War era (i.e, American made - stamped Lionel NY) tubular track.  Knowing I would be rehabilitating a lot of track, the kit looked interesting and useful.  It contains a modified railroad spike for closing the tabs on the tie around the rail, a jig for inserting pins quickly and easily and a set of track pliers.  It also came with a nice set of instructions and suggestions for use.

The kit arrived and I got side tracked so it sat on the shelf until a few weeks ago.  When I used the track pliers I noticed it was biting into the top of the rail a bit.  I tried to clean up the pliers with a file to take off any sharp edges but it still left a small mark.  I emailed the support address asking what I could do - I did not provide any dates of purchase, an order number, etc.  Within hours I had a reply - send me your address and we will replace them.

Wow - what fantastic customer service.  The new pliers arrived in a few days and work great.  I also placed an order for the pin removal jig, stainless steel pins and some insulating pins.  The quality of the tools is solid, everything is well done and make pin insertion and removal as well as creating insulated sections much easier.  If you are working with tubular track their tools are definitely worth a look.
