Just got an email from Greenberg's Train Shows. With the closing of the Garden State Expo Center Feb 9th -10th Show has been moved to the MeadowLands Expo Center in Secaucus NJ. I don't know if that's a good location or not, but for the show that it is, its a bit too far for me.

Didn't know the Garden State Expo Center closed, if the change in location doesn't attract different vendors the location change will not help much. Likely that site will be more expensive to secure but it is much closer to a large population so perhaps attendance will go up.
I don't see anything on the web about the convention center being closed - the center's schedule has a pet expo and bridal show that weekend, and events listed for the next several months.

You are talking about Edison...that show is still on for March.
The Somerset show was normally the first weekend of January.
Greenberg tried to do a show New Year’s Eve in 2017, it was a flop.
I will admit, I'm a bit confused. Part of that is from the slight mis-naming of the Somerset facility in the original post, which leads searches to the Edison facility. When I put in the correct name, I see that the Somerset facility is closed. Anyway, thanks for correcting my bad info, Chris.

It’s The Garden State Convention Center in Somerset, NJ that’s closed! The Garden State Expo Center in Edison, NJ is still very much opened.

To be a bit overly technical about it, the Edison location is called the NJ Convention and Exposition Center. The Somerset NJ location was called the Garden State Convention and Exposition Center so to simplify it all, Edison is still open. I believe that both are/ were operated by the same corporation so the above post has validity.
The former Somerset convention center is now a warehouse for 6th Ave Electronics. The landlord of the property apparently received a generous offer for the building and sold it. If the new Meadowlands location doesn't work out for Greenbergs there are several other facilities around the state that could accommodate the show.
