Now that Halloween   week has arrived, I figured that I would start the thread building on some of the “pre-Halloween” threads for those of us that celebrate the occasion.  It's a small 4x8 Atlas O layout using a N Scale V11 track plan from Kato.

Here are my images that I took last night, first these with the room lights still on:

This is my "Hallowe'en Mountain".

A work in progress.  I completed the foam mountain as the foundation a few months ago but have yet to do the landscaping and necessary finish work on it.

There is a yard and through track under the mountain on the layout's first level.  Drop wires have been installed but are not yet connected to the various voltages required.

My Hallowe'en Mountain is a bit "raw" for Hallowe'en 2019, but it should be in full glory - and operational - for 2020.

My layout is on Mianne benchwork, two levels, in a 10'x12' room. Operational controls for the accessories and track power are located on the fascia which will have the faux brick work properly installed instead of being taped.

"Space Mountain" is located in one other quarter of the layout, & it's full of Lionel space accessories.

Surprisingly, much of the rest of the layout - track work and  ballast - borders on Hi-Rail.

Wow Kevin', you have captured  the true essence of a Halloween' layout'. Your dedication in hard work  has not gone unnoticed producing this presentation.  You should submit  some of your photos to Alan Miller for posting in next years  fall issues of the O Gauge magazine....  Your night shots are wonderful'...Nice job'...

RT, I look forward your finished product as well'... THAT IS VERY COOL WORK thus far'.......

Our family always associates the Harry Potter movies with Halloween.  Though not a Halloween layout, we recently purchased Weasley’s flying Ford Anglia by Corgi to add some festive temporary detail to the layout.  Harry and Ron are preparing to board the Hogwarts Express.  They missed the train again at Kings Cross Station 9 3/4 and had to fly to our layout to catch the train
