Brian if you talk with Harry would you please ask if he is still doing the dumphouse for the GGD coaling tower?
I almost forgot... I still need to check on getting that baggage car door painted too...
Brian (Passenger Train Collector) Vaill informed me he conversed with Harry today. Harry will have drawings and some wall castings at his booth at York for people to view. Brian was away from his computer and wanted to get this information out to forum members.
Will he be in the Orange Hall?
Yes he will be.
Hopefully some pictures will be posted....

Pete, thanks for thought about photos. Also thanks to Marty for posting a response for me yesterday. My internet provider is running new fiber optic cables and apparently one of the workers crunched a line, so no internet yesterday.
Harry called me this morning and is very excited about the GCT Base project. As Marty mentioned for me, he will have drawings and wall castings to show at his booth at the York Meet. He also said he will send me a photo of his progress and I will post it to the Forum as soon as I receive it. What was exciting news from Harry is he will offer the base in simple to build kit form at a very good price.
Those of you who are familiar with Harry's work know he produces structures of the highest quality. The base should be no exception.
I am one who is also looking for a base. I saw the TW Trainworx base and it is way to big for my layout. So keep us posted.
Harry is building two styles of GCT bases. One will fit the smaller version that Lionel sold as part of the Anniversary celebration of the GCT. The other will fit the larger version that Lionel introduced in 2010.
Like many of you, I can't wait to see Harry's design. Should be something special.
Thanks Brian, for the update.....looks like this is a much anticipated kit!
