One of the layouts on Tinplate Legends 2 (dvd) has it running. First time I had seen one. Great timing, I just finished watching and was wondering who made that monorail.

This front one looks like it, but carries a different name.
Jet Rail Express, includes 11" space ship monorail, battery operated, plastic with metal upright and bases.
I agree with Mill City. I had one when I was a kid and I played with it a lot. It worked quite well.
Cool. What is the approximate scale?
Looks like HO to N size.
I watched the video link, posted by Mill City. • Jon
Cool to see how it operates and the speed control.
Thanks for finding this video....... CyberDashFleaCom

I been looking for one for years. Had one in 1956.
I had one as a kid. I think you put in two "D" cell in it like a flash light. Or maybe it was "C" cells. It was a good runner,I wish I still had it.

This is a pretty sleek pendulum-suspension model with slim-line overhead rail and unobtrusive drive mechanism inside the vehicle!

Never saw one when I was a kid.
I forget who posted this photo on the forum, but this has to be the coolest monorail I've ever seen:

Imagine a dept. store trying to put one of those in today. Ha Ha Ha...
An actual gyro monorail, maybe close to O-scale. Could be enhanced with radio control.
