I just bought this Railking PS3 Turbine today. I was warned against running unless it has the upgrade.
Can anyone tell me by looking at the wiring in the tender if this needs to have it done ???

Thanks for the link ...but can anyone confirm if the fix is that splice in the green wire ?
I just sent one back to mth I opened the box and was busted . So it is getting fixed and hopefully it gets returned soon

If you read the link, it says to cut and splice a resistor into the green wire. Feel the heat shrink tubing and see if you feel a resistor in there. Id wager that there's no reason for the heat shrink to be there unless it was fixed, so just fire it up. If it blows, its under warranty.
