Hello! I want to add a smoke unit in my 175 postwar launcher... I ordered the newer version (175) 6-14237 . smoke unit as pictured . I see the newer version has holes to mount it under the tan shed. I figure a little hole drilling and adding a clear tube will put the smoke right under the gray platform.
My ? is how to wire up this unit Lionel service did not have any info I read on line that a (maybe ) a 9 volt battery will make this work ? if so could you show me where to put the positive and neg wires to it .. I las thinking I might use the timer it self for a on off and eliminate the light bulb or use a led bulb for the 9 volt and just cut the wire coming form the under the controller to it..
