Yesterday, my mom and I went to the Henry Ford Museum to see their new Apollo exhibit, and our first stop was their railroad exhibit (my top favorite). When we got there, we noticed the layout was stripped down to the first level! I recalled some years ago that the staff told us that we would do a restoration, and when I checked with one of the staff members, I was right. They are carrying out their re-design of their train layout, and it will be finished by the end of this April. So, you know what I said? The bigger, the better!
I've also noticed they have put up a mini-display for young guests (plus me) to make their own trains in the meantime. So, that's fair enough.
