High speed RS3

I have a Kline RS3 with TMCC that was upgraded with a new radio board (C08) and ERR cruise commander M.

The cruise commander works fine maintaining the speed all around the layout. The problem is that the speed varies from fast to ludicrous. As soon as you barely turn the Legacy throttle, the locomotive starts at 40 SMPH with a bang and stops just a quickly when you close the throttle. You can adjust the speed up from fast and back down but not less than fast.

I have tried changing the speed steps between 32 and 100. I have tried adjusting the momentum. No change.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Something is wrong, I've installed at least a dozen CCM updates, and none of them worked anything like that.

Did you follow the programming setup directions for setting the engine type?

If you've done all that, contact ERR and ask them, as it sounds like it may have a problem. I'm assuming that it ran fine with the stock DCDR, right?
