What a delight it was to finally run trains on our S scale club layout after 19 months of dormancy. Here are some videos....

Very nice Chuck.
I like how you concentrate on running trains and scenery does not over crowd the layout.
This is outstanding! Thank you for sharing.
Some seriously nice S gauge trains running there. The modules are also well detailed.

Thank you. I wish I could take credit for the modules and the scenery. The original 10 modules were built in the late 80's by a very talented group of S scalers, including some who are still in our small (5 adult members) but stalwart club. I didn't come along until 2017. The configuration used at this particular show was 12 modules resulting in 15' X 28' layout. It is run with Digitrax DCC on code 100 hand laid track.
Cool stuff. I met some of these guys at the Stafford (tx) Trains show a few years back. Nice people. Thanks for sharing the vids.

Nice to see some folks who likes to run the passenger trains, great video.
Thanks for sharing,

Thanks Martin. The Greater Houston Train Show that you are referring to is happening in August this year rather than the usual Feb. Our club will be there with a bigger version of our layout. Looking forward to that one.
Chuck,
Thank you for the videos. It's nice to see such a variety of trains running on such a nice layout. I'm not sure I will ever "weather" my trains, but I must admit they look a lot more realistic. Hopefully everyone will be able to go to train shows in the near future.
Thanks,
John.
