Obviously, you are missing the plug at the end of the wiring harnesses that would connect tender to the engine.  Do you know which engine it is? That could help some of the members that do repairs or upgrades tell you which colored wire from the tender goes to which colored wire from the engine.  If you're not trying to put the plug on the engine into a certain size opening then any 4 pin micro plug would do.

I do not know the engine only that it is a berk of a latter design obviously because of the solid state E unit but what I do know is the engine has 2 wires that go to a cam activated switch obviously for chuff activation and the tender does not have a chuff activator such as a magnet so I was hoping I could use them together.

Your loco chassis is from the mid-1990's and is pre-TMCC, while your tender is TMCC/RailSounds 3 from the late 1990's.

The tether connectors are likely missing because they were completely different, as these items were not designed to be used together.

What you're advocating can be done, but it would require some re-thinking of how everything is wired. Judging by the amount of wire splicing I'm already seeing, it's really not something that I'd feel comfortable talking you through on here.
