As the Lionel only forum seems to be mostly new stuff, I will ask here among fellow tinplaters. For a 1938 era OO layout, the transformer that would have been sold by a dealer in that year would have been a Type B. The small multivolt ones came out the next year I believe. I see type B with brass name plates with a black background, and ones with a silver plates and black lettering. Which style would have been sold in 38? Trying to keep my OO display layout to what was available in 1938. AD
