How to hook up Lionel cab 2 system to my legacy system and run trains conventionally

A Cab2 is part of the Legacy system. Not sure what you are asking. 

You will need another piece of hardware in your system to control a conventional engine with the Cab2.

You must have a Powermaster, or a TPC300/400 in the wiring between the transformer and the track.

Hi Marty, I was just wondering if I can run conventional using this setup. Will it only work conventionally if it is set up through a TPC?

Much thanks for your input. I appreciate it very much. I do have a TPC and ran that way before I bought the MTH wiu, Lionel serial 2 complete setup and have nothing but problems including blowing a tiu. I should have just stayed running my trains through the remotes.
