So I’ve got more Lionel auto loader cars than I can shake a stick at... but I got tired of the autos rolling around and almost coming off the cars while the train is in motion. Time to come up with a solution. Magnetic wheel chocks! I went to Office Depot and found these tiny powerful magnets. SKU#400047:
They come in a pack of 18. I put four on the top deck and another four on the bottom:
They work great and are only $6 for 18. The awesome thing is that they’re barely noticeable and the autos stay put. No more rolling around!
Note... use a tweezers when placing these magnets.. they are little buggers and have a mind of their own!
