how to print a single post from a thread

For photos, you can right click on the photo and open it in a separate tab or window and then print it.  For the message, my method is to cut-n-paste it into a Word document and print it from there if it's larger than the screen.

If you are using IE, in addition to the picture method above, you can select the text, post or whatever part of the post you want to print,

right click somewhere on your selection,

select print preview from the menu.

Once in the print preview screen there is a selection box at the top of the screen that will say 'As Laid Out on Screen',

from that box select 'As Selected on Screen' instead,

then click the printer icon.

That should do it.

Try selecting or hi-liting the text & picture you want to print, Ctrl-P, should bring up options on your printer like Print "current page", but there's also "Selection".  Choose that and then click on Print.
