Hey guys.
Believe me, it has now been almost 4 hours of trying to download the Legacy System Utility (LSU) on my computer.
I have read all the posts numerous times and tried all the links. I have spent a lot of time on the Lionel site.....
Here is what happens....regardless of pushing the "links" or going on Lionel website....every time I can find the screen that
says "DOWNLOAD LSU", it takes me to a screen that tells me "looks like you are heading down the wrong tracks".
I have a DELL 2 year old laptop running Windows (latest version). I have my Legacy base plugged into the wall. I have the "Y" connector cable plugged into the computer and the base. I am using the serial to USB adaptor that Lionel specifies.
My Cab and Base both say Version 1-3.
I have a black module. Must that be plugged in? None of the instructions tell me to plug one in. It does not show that in the instructions. I downloaded and have a hard copy of the Version 2 User's Guide that I have been following exactly.
I need help. I do not know what else to do. I have a very early Legacy base....I bought one when they first came out years ago. Is that a problem? I have never used it or my controller as I ran TMCC on my old layout and then demolished it 3 years ago for my new one under construction.
Any replies are certainly appreciated.
