Here's what I use. The small silver one gets the "boulders" out, the big wood one gets all the gravel out (that's what I use for most of the dirt used), and then the coffee filter takes everything out so there's nothing left but powder.

I've baked the dirt ONCE in a cookie sheet. Found it was not needed so I no longer do it. The dirt has been sitting in a bucket for months, if not longer, and if there was "something growing" in it, the glue and alcohol are going to kill it.

Thanks Laid(OS) I use the same method but don't shift it down to the coffee filter. John Milwaukee never ran over here that I know of. It's got to be Milwaukee Road.

Gilly, the stress is high here. Do I pull over to the beach and fish or swim? These aren't easy things to figure out. I always carry my fishing gear in the car. No license, no limit. Don

John, were is my loyalty to the west coast? I spent years filming the Southern Pacific 2472 in the bay area. Many of those years with Matt as my sound man. He's on this forum. I have over 36 hours of HD video of this engine. I'm editing their new spring promo  now.  I love the west coast railroads. My first train ride was on the Daylight in 53 behind a GS-4. I really love the west coast trains. It's just they don't have any long run electrics. This was my first use of my original HD GoPro. Please watch in HD. Don
