I definitely agree with Dale. How about the sign that used to be on Chicago's Grand Central Station?

Yes, yes, and **** yes.

 

I saw a piece on the news while out in the Phoenix area about this sign in Mesa that had just been restored. I got a picture driving by in the daytime, but the ladies light up in sequence as if they are diving.

 

How about something like this classic.........

How about this neat Packard sign that's in Grass Valley, CA:

 

I'd like to see a re-issue of the N&W Shops sign with the older N&W logo instead of the NW logo used on the last offering.

I don't know... I think things are getting a little too busy on my layout

 

 

 

I'd like signs of broad application, not one location geographically specific, and that

means, usually, product signs like that for Packard above..Ford, Chevrolet, once

Plymouth and Dodge (these dealers along with more obscure ones, Willys, Terraplane,

etc. were found in a lot of wide spots in the road) and other products, beers, breads,

etc.  I asked them for a Coors sign at York, and would like one for D&RGW and other

roads such as Rock Island, Mopac, and Burlington for my junction town's buidings.

Those of wider application, of course, will be more saleable.....timeframe is important,

too, I'd have no use for a recent Saturn dealership's sign...

 

They've done a Rio Grande one now. Those others would be nice as well.

I just did my very first kit bash, taking two 3 story LIONEL building and making a 5 story and a John Deere dealership.  The 5 story will have the new Miller Scranton sign and Deere needs a sign.  Miller said it was on their "to do" list.

I agree with Jerry that the Tochterman's bass neon sign would make a very nice addition considering we already have the MR. Boh and Domino Sugar signs from Baltimore.  Tochterman's is a Baltimore icon and the owners Tony & Dee would be honored.

 

How about a beer sign for us Boston guy's!

I don't have much room on my small layout for ANOTHER Miller sign...BUT, I would love a FLAT "Merry Christmas" sign for my Christmas layout. I have the 3-D tree one, and it's OK (but I'm not buying the snowman). Thanks for considering this.

Wow. I'd really go for that Soo Line sign, too. I actually rode one of the last Soo Line passenger trains into that station in Superior when I was young.

 

I was very pleased when Chris told me at York that Madison Hardware is in the works for July as well as my long lobbied for S&H Green Stamps

 

Next I hope that we see some long retired automobile companies.

I'd be in for a Boston and Maine sign.

 

How about some neon window beer signs on a clear background. Make some regional brands as well as national brands. These were and still are seen in almost every bar and many grocery stores.

There ya go...add a CB&Q lit herald and Im in!

Sign almost a year and a half ago was told it was under consideration.
I agree it should be made as we had one in St. Paul, Mn just a block away from train depot it was nice then and sure would be nice now!
