I'd like to find them in a glazed ceramic to replace the plastic ones. Does anyone make them. Or ever did?
Try Hennings!

What would you search for? All the usual words come up empty
I would call Henning's and speak to either the "old man" or Gun Runner John! Just tell them what you are looking for. Another good source is Jeff Kane.
Henning's is a forum sponsor. GOOD LUCK! :-)
Thanks for the suggestions Art. Do you have contact info for Jeff Kane?
I do not, and I am not sure if he is a forum sponsor. I believe he calls his service, The Train Tender. Try Googling that! :-)
I found him on the internet. Thanks.
If you can't find the MTH version, you could probably substitute the insulators found on the Lionel transformer cars.
i got mine from trainz
Terry - do you know what the part number is or have a link for the part on Trainz?
RThanks.
MTH has them in stock. Contact Midge.
Is wonderful Midge still there??
I have yet to see anything that replicates the real strings of suspensions:
I took these a few years ago near the Conowingo hydro plant.

These insulators from Scale City are descent looking, still look a bit bigger than scale but pretty good.
Also are these suspension insulators in the picture or strain?
