In the second MTH 2017 catalogue the heavy USRA 4-6-2s are available including the SRR PS4 4-6-2 version. The catalogue list the min diameter as O-36 for the Southern model where as other road names are listed as O-42. Did a google search on the subject and the Lionel version which was first issued at a later date was said to have more detail than the MTH version. Many Lionel steam locomotives were first released at a later date which makes it easy for them to out detail MTH version. Does anybody have a MTH PS4 that know for sure it will navigate a O36 curve? Thought about calling MTH tomorrow. A Lionel Erie K5 pacific I have handles O36. Just don't want to spend $1025 and find its is only good as a mantle piece.
