Should we list 2 rail o scale items for sale/trade on the 3 rail forum or is there somewhere else these items should be listed?

Only one sale/trade forum, just label it 2 Rail in the title
There is no "3 rail Sale/Trade", there is just a "Sale/Trade", everything gets listed there, 3 rail, 2 rail, S gauge, HO, Standard Gauge, Tinplate, well, you get the idea.
As Chris mentioned, simply begin your title with "2 rail" and you'll be fine.
Where is the "for sale" forum? I dont see it listed in the main forum list menu.....
In addition to the OGR site there is another list you may consider, the Yahoo Group "O Scale Yard Sale". Just go to a Yahoo home page and click on "groups" then enter O scale yard sale.
It is strictly 1/4" scale two rail, standard & narrow gauge. I find it very active.

Granted , we do have a 4 sale page that we list on but a 2 railer has to fight thru so many3 rail post to find the few 2 rail. I just hope any 2 railer posting there would start his post with the words, "2 rail" for the comfort of those looking for 2 rail products. I will in the future.

Phil, I've posted and have sold 2 rail rolling stock here on the forum and have never had an issue with anyone complaining about "fighting thru 3 rail posts".
I start my Title with "2 Rail", that seems to work just fine.
I agree just list it as two rail in title ,a lot of three railers would but its just a matter of changing wheels. I list my stuff as 1/48 even though they have three rail trucks.

It does work to some extent, but the listing does drop off the 1st page rapidly due to the S/N.
The big advantage to having a 2 Rail for sale forum is ease of access to previous posts, as it stands now the For sale forum has at least a 10 to 1 ratio of posts for other than 2 rail[quickly putting your post off the front page].At least someone scanning for 2 rail could quickly cover several backpages of previous 2 rail posts. I have had sucess both on this forum and the O scale yard sale forum.JMO
