DCS has the speed limit function to prevent an unsuspecting operator from turning a train into a cruise missile... Does legacy have a similar function to limit the max speed step below 100%??

With as free spinning as the red knob is, sometimes it can sneak up on you (especially with the momentum turned up), or someone else that doesnt know until it happens, or a child who has no thought other than "Yay! Faster!".

Yes, I know you can pull the train brake, but you can also unrestrictedly move it back (again, think kid... "Ooooooo, lots of buttons and knobs! WOOO WOOOO!").

I read the manual and cant find it, if its in there. Seems like something that could be put into the legacy remote software and saved if it isnt already in there, even if it were just a globally programmed setting (i.e. no engines over step 110).

Address an Engine (ENG) or Train (TR) and get it going to the maximum speed you want.  Push ENG or TR again and look in the lower right hand corner of the keypad.  You will see the Speed Limit Icon.  Push and hold and the icon until the remote screen shows "Speed Limit Set".  Release.  That is now the maximum speed.

To normalize it, just address the eng or TR and press and hold the speed limit button until the remote reads "Speed Limit Off".
