Hey guys,

Recently I have been having an issue with my DCS setup. It's a rev. L TIU.

I go to address an engine this is on the track with my DCS remote. The engine is listed under the inactive engine list. I Choose the engine and the remote tells me the engine is not on the track. I reboot the remote, it comes back on with that engine chosen and let's me control it fine. If I go to a different engine and try to go back to the original engine, it once again tells me the engine is not on track.

This is happening with three of my Proto 2/3 engines.

Any ideas?

Hi Gromet,

You've come across one of a handle full of known bugs in the current DCS firmware.  The fact that the engine won't move out the inactive list indicates either that you have a track signal problem or the engine is associated with the wrong TIU.  The trick of turning the remote off and back on is a convenient work around, but  as you have observed, it doesn't actually move the engine up to the active list.
