I’m a long time reader with a a first time question. I’ve enjoyed reading and learning. I’ve been running DCS version 4 for years. I have a Z4000 to MTH track. 3 loops on an 8’x9’ layout with 7 lock-ons. All engines are PS3.
Problem: One engine runs fine. If I put another one on the circuit breaker trips in a minute or two. I’m probably missing something easy but I need some help. Thanks. Glenn

What circuit breaker? The one in the Z4K or an external breaker?
What amperage draw was displayed on the Z4000 with one train on, and then when the second is added?
Were both engines on the same loop or two independent loops?
Lighted passenger cars with tungsten lamps? How many? You need to measure the current just before the breaker pops. Rating of breaker?
The engines stop if both on the same track or if I have them on different tracks the Z4000 breaker is the only one that I have.
and that’s what I don’t understand-the amperage draw shows 0.0 to 0.1. It should be higher with 2 engines. No lit cars at all…. We’ll one caboose.
