You folks who are not coming to this red carpet event just because OH WELL I DONT FEEL LIKE GOING will probably visit YORK. You know it was less expensive for me to attend this event than going to York when i worked the numbers. A bunch of people will be taking advantage of the lionel product discounts and take the items to york and sell them to you or the next guy at a higher price ! oh well. Now I do understand some folks just can't make it.

if your coming travel safe. we are going to have a blast!!!!

There are those of us that just can't drop everything and drive/fly/rail off somewhere regardless of the event.

Those that can go, by all means enjoy yourselves, but please don't try to shame us folks that for whatever reason won't be there.

Well, I have the Caddy all gassed up and bag is packed.  I'll head out tomorrow at 8 am and get there in about 8 hours.  I'm pretty much an MTH guy, but this is a good opportunity to buy a little Lionel and it's right on the way to getting warm in Florida for a week.    At least I only have to drive 20 miles to get to York next month.  Life may be short, but it sure is good when you're retired!

Life is good!  Remember  these are toy trains.

See you there.

I had really planned on going to this, even had my motel reservations. But I am under the weather and could not make the trip, 1,000 miles. I have old friends in this area of the country and was going to make a week of it.

Could some of you that make this trip post some updates and hopefully some pictures for us that had to stay at home? I got a quick look at the warehouse from Traindame.

Hope you all have a great time today.
