I met Jerry many years ago at Dennison, Ohio. My wife and I were coming back on US250 from Lake Erie and I said I wanted to stop at the RR depot at Dennison. To my surprise, there was a steam locomotive sitting at the depot. The crew was eating lunch and I decided to take some pictures. I started talking to another rail fan and he said the locomotive was out on a "shakedown" run and he was quite knowledgeable about the locomotive. I introduced myself and he said he name was Jerry Jacobson. It took a few minutes for my wheels to spin and then I said, "You are the owner of the Ohio Central." He gave me a tour of that locomotive and when they left the depot, it was a site to see. He will be missed.
