"K Line By Lionel" DRG&W ALCO PA-1 ABA set

Hi,

I have had the DRG&W ALCO PA-1 ABA set (and matching passenger cars) for around 15 years and it worked flawlessly for 14 of them. Now, the trailing B unit won't respond to commands it receives from the lead unit and when I looked at the tether, I saw that one of the wires had popped out of its portal. If it helps, the SKU number is 6-21308 and was made under the "K Line By Lionel" banner. Has anyone else had this problem/what would the best course of action to get my engine running again?
