K-Line Caboose light out. | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

STL O scale FanOGR Forum Member

I ran this caboose for the first time today on Fastrak with a CW-80 Transformer and Lionel Legacy 990 controls.
K-LINE K616-5601 ANHEUSER BUSCH WOOD-SIDED OFF SET CABOOSE
At some point the lights went out and never came back on. Does anyone know of an easy check or fix?
Figured I'd post here before I start taking things apart blindly.

A loose/broken pick-up or common wire? All our other K-Line light issues have been board failures.

BTW, is that caboose able to have the smoke generator switched off?

Yes there is a switch for the smoke to be on or off. At the time I was running in off mode.
