That's a pretty standard Lionel TMCC package, what specifically are you looking for? It has plain Lionel electronics with the standard DCDR motor driver driving all three powered units. There's really nothing but motors and lights in the trailing units.
It's a standard diesel as far as TMCC is concerned, nothing special. I typically use AUX1-8 for most diesels unless they have a strobe light or cab lights.
I've attached the standard TMCC reprogramming codes, this works for this set. FWIW, I had the same exact set, but I wanted cruise and couldn't figure a cheap way to equip it, so I finally decided to sell them.
I wish it had the cruise too but it seems to run on my simple track plan pretty well. I also have the later set with cruise and the detailed pilot assembly. Marty, this is the one with all units powered, however it has no smoke.
Ok. I thought I remembered smoke. That was a few years ago.
Other similar K-Line models have smoke. I had that exact set, and it had no smoke.
There are versions with smoke and cruise. The model I upgraded to PS-2 had K-Line Cruise boards in each powered unit. Part of that elaborate tether was connecting the slave signals to the other motor drivers. Pretty interesting, though I think some said it was hard to keep them in sync. G
I have the K-Line E8's, they have smoke. However, the specific set he has does not offer smoke.
Hi everyone. yes no smoke in that set (from 2000) K-line catalog. The set I have from the 2005 catalog does have smoke in all three units and cruise (A-A + optional B unit.) these have a larger plug in tether to accommodate the additional features. Thanks again for the responses.

The K-25431 F3 ABA was in the 2nd Edition 2000 catalog. I've attached the manual for a K-Line TMCC E8 engine from the 1st Edition 2000 catalog. In that era, K-Line used generic manuals for many of their diesels. I have a lot of K-Line diesels and the manuals all look about the same from the early 2000's. Hopefully this manual will be useful to you.
I'm curious what you'd get out of 95% of the K-Line operating instructions? As Bruce says, there were almost all generic pamphlets.

Bruce - thanks for posting the generic operating manual.
I did not know it used a 9 volt alkaline battery, And I did not know the little clips were on the tethers and have to be depressed to separate the units. Being a bit of a gorilla, my tendency is to gently pull things apart until they separate. Sometimes as the gentle pull increases it goes to brute force until separation occurs, darn broke something again! At least not this time.
The 9V battery is optional for the RailSounds when you operate in conventional mode as a rule.
