I was wondering if anyone has some knowledge of K-line parts. I had the gear on a flywheel crack. Don't ask me how it happened. I located a replacement part, but it is an entire assembly and I just need the axel with the flywheel. Does anyone know if this axel can be purchased separately? The entire assembly is product K2800-E004 6-Wheel Motor Truck Assembly. It costs $40 plus shipping and tax. I'm trying to save some money by buying just the broken axel with the flywheel.

Are you referring the gear as the flywheel? If you found the truck, purchase it. Manufactures no longer break down individual axles and gears. the entire truck assembly is broken down as far as it goes.
Yes, the gear. I thought that gear was considered the flywheel. Am I wrong about that?
The flywheel is the brass wheel on the motor, it's really a flywheel to enhance short distance coasting.
Thanks for the clarification. I originally thought that brass part was the flywheel, but I did a Google search of flywheel and it showed gears, so I thought the gears were the flywheel. Thank you for the info.
