I do not have the model number, but would a K-Line RS-3 that has TMCC have a fan powered smoke unit? I looked at the Lionel PDF online, and it has smoke-- but no mention as to whether it would be fan powered.

The K-Line did have the fan driven smoke. The inside of the RS-3 was a very tight place to work in.
Thanks for that info Marty! There is one for sale over in FS, and there is no model number, but I knew someone would know the answer.
Thanks again,
Jeffrey
Well, I drug around and missed it.
I've never seen a diesel with smoke that wasn't fan driven, but I suppose they exist. Maybe someone like Weaver or Williams put a Seuthe unit in them?
Jeff, you did not miss it, it is still for sale. Jim R.
I would buy it if you like it. It is a looker. Keep in mind, MTH did that same locomotive.
I did go ahead and buy it. I have a strange attraction to really ugly units, and with that high hood, and oh!!-- that antenna-- I thought it was pretty neat. I like anything with that big antenna system.
For some reason I have the feeling that maybe these early 2000 models were made in Korea-- and the quality was real good? That is just an assumption I have made.
Anyway-- thanks guys for pushing me over the edge-- hopefully you will never meet my wife!
