Cheers!

Traingineers are coming out of the 2018 gate with a wildly successful custom layout installation in Santa Fe, NM - birthplace of Traindame!

Wildly successful because this was our first custom layout fabricated entirely from our North Carolina Division headed up by the Masterful Mike Reagan! This Layout was created for one of the very first members of the LCCA and I’m happy to report, Mr. Day has been pulling engines out of their boxes and running them on their very own custom TW TrainWorx Layout with sheer glee and excitement ever since the Traingineer Team pulled out of his driveway.

Enjoy some pictures from the installation...

Very nice. Could you provide the track plan.

Hi Art,

Thank you for the compliment and unfortunately, after the investment our client's make, the track plan is theirs and we can not share without their permission. Hope you understand.

Wow, beautiful layout! Thanks for posting the photos Dorcie!

I like how you neatly made use of those dual action switches that come with the accessories.

Its great to see "big Mikes" talents aren't being wasted. I bet he sleeps better at night too.

You guys need some type of " Extreme Layout Makeover" type reality show.

Watching kitchens get remodeled gets old.

WOW!  That popped me between the eyes on a Saturday morning.  FAN-tastic!!!!

Of course, no one would expect any less of Mike & TW TrainWorx.

In addition to what looks like an excellent track plan are the accessories that make the layout FUN!  Wow, again.

Ricko had the idea of an "Extreme Layout Makeover" show.  I agree!  HGTV and/or DIY need to do this.

Excellent layout.  Mike looks happy and also very trim.  I am wondering if he will be doing any diet commercials with Marie Osmond in the near future.

All kidding aside I am sure that this layout will provide thousands of hours of enjoyment for generations.

If you can post some videos in the near future that would be great.

Thanks.

I really like the owner's wall tapestry.  It's pretty obvious he's in the southwest!  I've never seen one with trains on it and would love to know the story.  That's perfect for a train room in his area and really neat.

There is indeed a story behind this Layout in particular... rather involved. I’m actually considering writing it up & sharing on my TrainDame blog... stay tuned

Looks fantastic. How long was installation to finish time?

Truck arrived and was unloaded on a Monday. First thing was dismantling the existing (totally non-working piece of *^%* - see video below), unloaded truck and staged layout in garage for installing new pieces on Tuesday.... truck pulled out Friday afternoon and started journey back to big D. So grand total of *5* days

 That’s a great looking bridge!

This photograph shows the bench work without a facia covering the 1 x 3s or 1 x 4s supporting the table top. I haven’t seen that before, but I like it

Thanks! It is always fun seeing the process photos and just exactly how a layout comes together. Here's photo of attaching the fasciaIMG_2057IMG_2059IMG_2064...
