I have been asked by the Jacksonvillegroup of 3-rail O gauge hobbyists to post the following message:

TCA Member Bud Hayden and his group of Jacksonville TCA members and colleagues will again be setting up a large operating train display during the Home and Patio Show at the Prime Osborne Convention Center in Jacksonville.  The show begins at 12 Noon on Thursday, March 8th and runs through Sunday, March 11th at 6 PM.

The train displays that this group have been setting up are fantastic and feature operating post-war, pre-war and modern `O' gauge plus some 2-rail G-gauge.  There have been photos of their layouts at previous shows posted to this forum by a member of the group.  For this show they have expanded the layout again by adding an additional 8 feet so the layout now measures a whopping 20x48 feet!

The Home and Patio Show is open to the public and anyone who will be in the area is encouraged to attend and see another fantastic train display!  And the Prime Osborne Convention Center is a very appropriate setting for a toy train layout because the Convention Center occupies the former main Northeast Florida Railroad Depot, the grand old Jacksonville Union Terminal.

Bud and his group are always seeking volunteers to help set-up, operate and tear-down the display.  If you help set-up, you can bring your trains to run!  And volunteers do not have to be TCA members!

To volunteer please contact Bud by email at trainguy13@aol.com.
