OK... I’ll bite - what is the difference between the “two main level floors and railings” and the “two terminus level floors and railings”???

Nice fire escapes, but not really escapes without ladders! Just sayin!

Actually, when I was growing up in Brooklyn, we lived in an apartment in a row of semi-detached houses. My bedroom had a “fire escape” similar to these - no ladders. They were intended to allow you to get into the apartment next door which was on the other side of a fire wall (although the floor of the escape didn’t have an opening for the ladders like these).

Paul-

I’ll put one in the mail for you to play around with.

For the record, we are efforting ladders and railing kits. A few folks have asked us to come up with the fire escape landings and this is our first offering. As with our buildings, there will be vatiations on a theme that are not found in other manufacturer’s products.
