Layout Changes New Pics 4/17/2013

Get-er done,us Greenville guys need to run trains on those rails.I know it'll be for the better but hate to see the tracks dead end for now,wish I had the time to spend about 8 hrs a day helping you.See ya tonight brother Mouse.

Sounds like great changes, Dave.

Take it from someone who has done it many times. It's always a little tough to make that first cut or rip out that first track - but, the layout always gets better with a rebuild.

Darn Dave, I haven't had the chance to visit your current layout yet.

I've been working for the last week on the layout changes and thought I would post some photos (iphone).  I will take some better ones I promise.

The trestle is gone.

I might put it back in here but I do not know yet.

I removed my display case.  Painted the wall.  Moved the old yard over and lengthened it by 74"

I am out of lumber, track and beer.

A very nice yard! It looks like the ARR yard near Fairbanks, AK. Here's the satellite view from 200ft Alt. (Google Maps) Lots of coal for power generation.

Very nice work! Can you add some more pictures of your access door wih he lift bridge? How are you locking it into place?

I will say that it works very well and is strong enough to last for years to come.

Great work.  I just got back from the East Coast but would be happy to make a special trip to deliver beer!  Ok, I'll throw in some track and lumber too.

Dave....I am so sorry I am coming to this party late.  I need to get over to this area more often.  HOLY COW....Dave, you have a beautiful layout and the new changes are coming along fantastically!  You sir are a great modeler....I will be checking this thread out on a regular basis...please keep the updates coming...
