Hallelujah!  Finally hit the LCT jackpot.  My 256 Electric AND the accompanying 710 Passenger Cars are coming. Ordered these back in February 2011. Can’t wait. Then again, I have been waiting.

EDIT: And what’s interesting is that I could have sworn that the 436 Power Station was previously cancelled. In fact, I’ll bet there’s an old thread here about that. Whatever. It now appears to be shipping.

You are probably thinking about the No. 840 Powerhouse that was cancelled.

I, too, have an orange 256 on order to go with the red model and blue model I purchased previously.  My hobby budget is already shot for the month and beyond, but I'll just have to bite the bullet and come up with the $.  And that doesn't even include some O gauge stuff (regular O gauge) that is scheduled for release this month.

Looks like it's gonna be beans and rice for me and the pooch for a few weeks!

I'm glad I held off on ordering the Armored Train Set (olive green version) as I see that's also on the latest ship list. I'd really be in a pickle.   As it is, I've got a few smaller items (accessories and such) that should be trickling in from LCT this summer.

Let's just hope the 2012 stuff doesn't suddenly appear earlier than expected!

Anybody ordering any of the decorated freight cars? Those seem pretty fun to me - a nod toward a bit more visual detail with a graphic design that keeps in the tinplate spirit. I'm thinking one or two of them would look quite nice mixed into a classic 500-series freight consist behind an 1835e. If I weren't also looking forward to the #8 Trolley and the Brass Piper, I'd jump on them. But I can't afford all three, and I'm not sure which to pick. I suppose the 1835e is likely to disappear first, right?

Aside from the Armored Train set...nada, nothing, zip.  I'm waiting for the 256 Electric.

Same here. As usual, the Product Locator isn't much help. It still shows the 256 as a July delivery despite the notice posted up at the top that showed the items (including the 256) as shipping over 2 weeks ago.

Nice!  I thought maybe I'd beat you in the 256 sweepstakes. Mine's coming from Ready To Roll so it'll probably be sometime next week. Also receiving the 710 Passenger 3-car set.
