Legacy doing it's own thing

Did you take the batteries out for a couple of minutes and then fire it up again?  If so, it's probably time to call Lionel.

I saw the red light flash every time you pushed a button.  when the red light flashes no communication with the base is happening.  do you have both on the same channel?

Stuck button.  Hard to read the display standing on my head.

 

My Lionel legacy remote did the same basic thing. I just turned it off then turned it back on, and it was fine. However, once it was receiving a command non stop, and the legacy base's light that turns red when a command is given, was staying lit. I e-mailed Lionel, and they said a button was stuck, and they were right. So Marty is telling the truth above.

I tried turning it off no luck. I think I figured out what button it is now how do I unstick it?

 

You just simply press it multiple times until it gets unstuck.

If a button is sticking, it'll still have to go to Lionel, unless this is a one-time event.

well its up and working now hopefuly for good now.
