Brand new old stock. At first it wouldn't move at all. Rear motor and truck assembly are free and smooth. Front truck is fine. Front motor rubs on this sensor for 90 degrees of rotation then it is free for the next 270 degrees.
What is required to gain clearance here? 
Safe to try and bend the squirrel wheel? Bend the sensor?

Take the shell off. Rotate the flywheel until you see the hole in it. Loosen the set screw and move the flywheel up just enough to clear the sensor. Tighten the set screw and put the shell back on.

Make sure you don't pull the flywheel up enough to hit the shell when you put it back together. Probably no more than around 1/16" will do the trick.
