Hi all, my Legacy GP35 starts in reverse and when I press reset on the remote it still starts up in reverse. I also tried reloading the module. Any suggestions?
It sounds like it may have been assigned in a train in the reverse direction. Assign it to train 'TR 0' using either TMCC or Legacy procedure and see if it resets.
If the unit was used in a consist running backwards, it may still think it's in the consist. Old TMCC, you had to assign the unit to TR (train 0). Legacy should have a similar procedure for UN-lashing or breaking a consist.
I agree with Mike CT. Whenever I have had this is issue in the past it was always with Legacy engines that were configured in a train in reverse direction. it was resolved by "UN-lashing" it.
